Penalties for violating rules on zoological collections to be toughened

Penalties for zoological collections and violation of their trade are going to be toughened, Azerbaijani Parliament reported to Trend on Monday.

A draft law to amend the Code of administrative offences, which states that the violation of rules on creation, enrichment, maintenance, use, state registration, import and export of zoological collections, established by law, penalizes individuals by 500 AZN, officials- by 2000, entities by 5000 AZN (according to the acting legislature individuals are penalized by 20 to 25 manats, officials- by 60 to 85 manats.

The violation of trade laws of zoological collections, established by law, penalizes individuals by 200 AZN, officials - by 1000 and entities - by 3000 manats (according to the acting legislature the individuals are penalized by 15 to 20 manats, officials - by 30 to 50 manats).

The draft law is going to be introduced at the autumn session of the Parliament.
