Ireli PU joins int'l forums in Iceland

Chairman of Irali NGO Rauf Mardiev is representing Azerbaijan in a series of events in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Mardiev took part in a conference dedicated to the organization of the activity of youth donors and cooperation with European donors, as well as in discussing the preparation of the book "The work of European youth organizations".

He also participated in an international youth forum. Entitled “Youth Organizations: Expansion of the structure, infrastructure and activity”, the forum was attended by 60 representatives from 20 countries. On the sidelines of the event Mardiyev and other participants were received by President of Iceland Olafur Ragnar Grimsson and other senior officials. The main purpose of the forum was to expand the activities of youth organizations, discuss new approaches and ways of strengthening the role of youth organizations in society.
