Quake occurs in Caspian’s Azerbaijani sector

An earthquake was recorded in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea at 01.15 on August 31.

The Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told APA that 4.20-magnitude quake occurred in 4-km depth in the Caspian Sea, 34 km north-east from Lankaran city.

The quake was not felt.
