Chinese studies center opened at Azerbaijan University of Languages

Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Language (AUL), MP Samad Seyidov received Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Azerbaijan Hong Jiuyin on August 30.

The university’s press service told APA that they exchanged view about the studying Chinese at the University, opening the centre of Chinese culture and language and exchange of scholars and students.

Seyidov informed the guest that the center of Chinese studies under the Faculty of Regional Studies and International Relations of AUL has already enrolled the students. He presented the list of 10 students, who will get education on this specialty. He underlined that all of the students entered to the university with high grades and besides with the Chinese, they will study the history and culture of China.

In his turn, the ambassador underlined that the opening of the center of Chinese culture and language is a large and important project for the development of the relations. He highly appreciated the teaching of Chinese studies at the AUL.
