Baku Sewing Factory banned to produce school uniforms

The State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of the Republic of Azerbaijan has inspected Baku Sewing Factory, operated under leadership of Sakina Rashid Babayeva in Baksol-1, BInagadi district.

The inspection determined that the enterprise produces uncertificated products, violates the rules for the use of instrumentation, at the same time, the enterprise manufactures school uniform illgeally without any normative document. Moreover, the factory has not agreement with any accredited laboratory for determination of quality and safety of the manufactured product.

Accordign to the Code of Administarve Offenses, a protocol has been drawn up on penalty from AZN 4,000 up to AZN 5,000. Besides, a requirement has been given on stopping of production, sale and realiziton of school uniform at Baku Sewing Factory.
