Number of fatal accidents at work in Azerbaijan named

128 accidents at work have been recorded in Azerbaijan in first six months of 2011, but this figure was 96 in relevant period of 2012, deputy chief of the State Labor Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection Rauf Tagiyev told journalists.

He said 53 cases of death at work have been recorded in first six month of 2011, 28 cases in 2012. 13 death facts occurred in the construction sector last year and this figure was same in 2012. “Irregular labor security rules in some work places cause such incidents”.
