‘Horror’ or how drivers and pedestrians ' are playing with death' - VIDEO

The number of victims of the road accidents increases day by day in Baku. Negligence of drivers and inattention of pedestrians are the main reason for this, Baku State Central Traffic Police Department spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Vagif Asadov said. The department provided video of road accidents spotted by the Safe City camera system.

In the first half of  2012, 1,278 road accidents killed  436 people and injured 1,361  in Azerbaijan. Some 553 accidents (148  killed, 584 wounded) were registered in Baku.
