Emergency Minister visits quake-affected zone

Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kemaleddin Heydarov revisited Zagatala region due to quake occurred in the north-west part of the country. APA reports that Heydarov visited number of villages of Gakh, Zagatala and Balaken and took an interest in construction work carried out in the region. The minister also met with the local citizens and became familiar with their problems.

7-magnitude quake hit Zagatala region on May 7. More than 3000 constructions were seriously damaged. AZN 20 mln were allocated from the state’s budget in order to eliminate consequences of the quake.
