Baku taxis still lack communications equipment

Baku Taxi, the owner of an exclusive right for use of taxi cabs in Baku ("London taxi" TX4), continues taking steps to improve its activity.

Baku Taxi’s director Ilgar Gasimov says that currently the most actual issue the Company encounters is operational coordination of work of taxi drivers by dispatchers.

"So far we have not bought relevant equipment, but negotiations in this direction are under way,” Gasimov said.

Earlier it was planned that the new Japanese equipment to ensure rapid communication between the driver and the dispatcher will be purchased by local company BURAN.

Currently in 1,000 TX4 are working on the streets of Baku.
