
A major bridge is under construction in Baku as a part of the reconstruction of the Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry’s Azeryolservis OJSC reported.
The company reported that the construction work is carried out at accelerating pace. The reconstruction of the Ziya Bunyadov Avenue was launched in early 2011. The project includes reconstruction of the road, starting from the circle on the intersection of the Avenue with the streets Ali Mustafayev, Rashid Mammadov, Abdulvahab Salamzade (Nasimi district, Baku), to the Boyuk Shore Street. The total length of the Avenue is 9 km and a width - 50-60 meters. The project also envisages the construction of underground and overhead pedestrian crossings, tunnel.
