Named reason for termination of journalism training in private universities

Admission to the journalism profession in the universities has been stopped as journalism training is not satisfactory in these educational facilities.

Definite monitoring was conducted on the quality of journalism training in these universities, Minister of Education Misir Mardanov said.

According to the minister, this decision was passed not by any organization, but by the Educational Commission under the President. Mardanov said that the admission to journalism in these private educational facilities can be restored: “If quality is higher, the society of Azerbaijan positively approaches the quality of journalism training in these universities, we can restore the admission.”
