Caspian Sea ecology protection to be mulled

Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Planning and chairman of the Iranian National Hydrometeorology Organisation Bahram Sanaei is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, a spokesman for the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan Abbas Isgenderi told Trend today.

Sanaei will meet with deputy director of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Rza Mahmudov. The development of bilateral relations will be discussed, Isgenderi said.

An agreement will be discussed during the visit. This is planned to be signed between the various committees of the Caspian littoral states in the fields of hydrology and environmental protection of the Caspian Sea.
