Azerbaijani , Georgian think tanks sign memo

The Azerbaijani Centre for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani president and the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies have today signed a memorandum of understanding.

Director of the Azerbaijani Centre for Strategic Studies Farhad Mammadov and president of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies Alexander Rondeli have both signed the document.

Mammadov said that the Azerbaijani Centre for Strategic Studies has similar agreements on cooperation with the think tanks of 14 countries. The memorandum signed today is the fifteenth document.

"These agreements give us the legal basis to cooperate with these centres and implement joint projects," he said.

He stressed that the memorandum signed today will allow implementing joint projects with the Georgian Centre for Strategic Studies.
