Final exams started at Azerbaijani schools

Today, the State Student Admission Commission (SSAC) hold final exams for the eleventh and ninth form students of general education schools in Khojavend, Yevlakh, Aghjabedi, Aghdam, Barda, Terter, Imishli, Saatli, Sabirabad, Fuzuli, Zardab and Beylagan regions.

The SSAC press service told APA that the eleventh form students will take examination at 10.00, the ninth form students at 15.00.

44 examination centers were established to hold the final exams of the eleventh form pupils in these regions. 11188 pupils are considered to participate in the final exam of the eleventh form pupils for the above-mentioned regions.

The final exam is held for the native language (Azerbaijani for the pupils of the Azerbaijani section and Russian for the pupils of the Russian sector) and mathematics. Totally 60 tests – 30 tests for every subject is giving to the pupils. Besides it, the pupils do written works for the theme. The examination will start at 11 and last 2 hours. One and half hour is given to the tests and 30 minutes to the written work. The written work is not estimated with points, only in special cases it is used as an extra criterion. The information on correct and false answers of the pupils to the test is made up within 5 days. The pupil’s price for the 5 point scale is made up within 10 days after completion of the final exams in the republic. Pupils, freed from the final exams due to valid reason, will give an exam in July 4.
