Penalties for pedestrians breaking traffic rules increased twofold

The amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences were discussed at the Azerbaijani Parliament’s extraordinary meeting.

APA reports that Chairman of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building Ali Huseynli informed about draft amendment.

According to the amendment, the pedestrians will be fined in amount of AZN 20 (currently this amount is AZN 10) for crossing the roadway and railway on undetermined place.

The draft amendment was put to vote and adopted.
