Tourist facilities monitored in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry will start inspections at hotels and hotel-type facilities in Azerbaijani tourist regions from June 11, the agency said.

The inspections aim to determine the level of preparation of hotels and hotel-type facilities for the summer tourist season, quality and cost of services rendered to tourists.

The appropriate measures, including revocation of licenses will be taken toward hotel-type facilities having deficiencies.

The official opening of the summer tourist season will be held on June 13, the ministry said.
