
Burying relating to the I-II centuries was found in the Kelegayli village during the work on the laying of the Girdimchay -Agsu water supply system carried out by the JSC Irrigation and Water Economy of Azerbaijan , member of the Agsu archaeological expedition, Doctor of Historical Sciences Gafar Jabiyev told Trend Life.
The found artifacts represent a unique colorful crockery - large manufacturing vats, milk jugs with a narrow neck and beak, utensils for storing the liquid, vases, small jugs, decanters and other utensils. There were also found millstones and implements of iron, relating to the period of ancient Albanian history.
Members of the ANAS Agsu archeological expedition carried out inspection of the territory with the participation of representatives from relevant agencies. There were also taken important measures on the state registration of the finds.
