More responsibilities to be imposed on employer companies in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani parliament will make an amendment to the law on Trade Union.

The parliament’s social policy and human rights committees discussed the question at the session led by the chairpersons of the two committees – Hadi Rajabli and Rabiyyat Aslanova.

According to new amendment to the law, any employer company regardless of form of ownership must provide an employee with the rights of membership in trade union and during 4 working days this company, enterprise or any organization should be transferred to the special account of trade union.

Changes to the project were recommended at the plenary session.
