Over 600 kg of drugs to be destroyed in Azerbaijan

More than 600 kg of seized drugs will be destroyed in Azerbaijan. This follows the seizure of drugs in 2010 - 2011 which will be destroyed at the Baku petroleum engineering plant, the working group of State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs told Trend on Tuesday.

The vast majority of drugs seized belong to a group of hard drugs; heroin, marijuana, hashish, opium and others, the working group said.
