Over 650 foreigners arrested in Azerbaijan

656 foreigners have been detained as a result of controls carried out by the employees of the State Migration Service (SMS) within two days.

The State Migration Service told APA that 656 foreigners involved in the illegal labor activity without permission in contradiction with the requirements of the legislation of Azerbaijan were detained, as a result of relevant measures taken against illegal migration in Guba and Gusar regions on May 30-31. Relevant decisions about the detained people have been made in accordance with the requirements of the administrative legislation of Azerbaijan.

The State Migration Service is continuing to take intensive measures to reveal and prevent illegal migration in the capital and regions of the country.
