About 20 laws govern children's rights in Azerbaijan. A total of 40 articles of the laws regulating the rest, medical treatment, education and sports events of children, Deputy Chairman of the Social Policy Committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament Musa Guliyev told Trend today.

He said the free time of children in the country is organized at the level of executive bodies.

"There are playgrounds for children in all settlements," he said. "The conditions were created for them to play. There are music and sports clubs in all regions to attract children to certain occupations after school."

He said that there are centers in the House of Youth at the Ministry of Youth and Sports where young people and teenagers can go in for sports and science.

He also stressed that there are special departments at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. All the conditions were created for children to engage in art.
