Over 160 foreigners detained in Azerbaijan

Last week, the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan detained 167 foreigners engaged in illegal trade in the country.  The Service reports that last week employees of Migration Service conducted raids in Mingechevir, Hajigabul, Sabirabad, Guba, Gusar.

In the course of relevant inspection the Service employees detained foreign citizens illegally residing in Azerbaijan and engaged in street trade, participating in construction work at the sections without relevant permission. Decisions, corresponding to administrative legislation were made in respect of detained people.

Most  of retained persons are Moldova and Turkey citizens.
