Azeri scientist honored with Bekir Çobanzade Foundation`s award

Employee of the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Scientists (ANAS), professor Ramiz Asgar has been awarded a Bekir Çobanzade International Foundation`s prize.
The award for a book entitled “Bekir Çobanzade. Selected works.” went to Ramiz Asgar in the nomination of the best translation of works in Crimean Tatar Literature.

According to ANAS, the presentation ceremony will be held in the first Crimean Turkology scientific conference entitled “The world of Bekir Çobanzade” in Belogorsk, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of Ukraine on May 23-25.
