Baku mulls legal status of disabled people

A conference on legal status of disabled people dedicated to European Day of People with Disabilities has today kicked off here. Government officials, MPs, head of the UNICEF Azerbaijan, representatives of NGOs are attending the event.

The conference highlighted Azerbaijani government`s care for the disabled, and important measures it takes towards their social protection. The meeting heard reports on the relevant theme.
