A new road will be laid in the Khatai district of Baku, along the Heydar Aliyev Avenue beginning from the junction with him Babak Avenue, Azeryolservis OJSC spokesman Punhan Mursaliyev said.
He said the-two-lane road will stretch 300 meters. “Now, the work is underway to demolish private homes with a view to construct the new roads. Relevant compensation was offered to tenants at the market value, but they required funds higher than the market prices by 7-8 times, and we had to resolve the matter in court. Now, the court granted our appeal,” he said.
The reason for laying a new road is to prevent congestion in the area leading from the Heydar Aliyev toward Babak Avenue. Construction is scheduled for completion in May.
