Rules of final exams in secondary schools to be amended

Rules of final examinations in the secondary schools will be changed this year, said Chairwoman of the State Students Admission Commission Maleyka Abbaszadeh at the press conference today.

She said according to the presidential order issued on April 19, the centralized final examinations will be held by the State Students Admission Commission (SSAC). The Commission developed new project to hold final examinations in general and senior secondary education level only on two subjects – native language and mathematics.

The examination will last two hours. 30 test tasks will be given to the school leavers on each subject. The participants will have one and half an hour to answer the questions and 30 minutes for written task.
