He said if tourism companies appeal, Azerbaijan Railways is ready to launch special tourist trains to Azerbaijan's major city Ganja and to the Georgian capital Tbilisi.

"We are ready to run tourist trains on these directions, but, in this regard, an appeal of tourism companies is required," Azmammadov said.

Two tourist information-dispatch points will render services to passengers at the Baku railway station within "Eurovision 2012" song contest in Baku, head of "Azerbaijan Railways" Nadir Azmammadov told Trend today.

He added that the work is under completion to establish two information points. In particular, one of them will be located on the platform, the second one - in an area of ticket offices. The points will be equipped with necessary equipment and computers. They will render all information services to tourists during the song contest.

He stressed that cashiers attended the English language courses for tourists not to have problems when purchasing tickets.

"All pointers in the station will be in Azerbaijani and English within the preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest. "This is done to provide tourists and visitors of our city with maximum comfort. These activities relate to the supervisors at customs checkpoints."

He said that the action plan also includes the establishment of taxi and bus stops in front of the railway station.

These operations are being carried out within the action plan developed by the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry to prepare for the contest.
