Forest catches fire in Gabala

A fire accident occurred in an area of 1.5-2 ha of Tovla municipality of Gabala region. on April 10. Due to the windy weather condition the fire percolated the section ? 24 of the quarter ? 19 of Zaragan forestry of Gabala Forest Protection and Rehabilitation Enterprise, and the hay and bushes of 0.47 area, belonging to the forest foundation were burned afterwards. The fire has not inflicted a serious damage on the forest foundation.

The fire was caused by an unstubbed cigarette left by an automobile passing through the way.
The fire was extinguished by the local bodies of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and Ministry of Emergency Situations, and local people on April 10, at 11:20 pm.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources warns people once again to be cautious with fire, seriously keep fire safety rules connected with the hot weather, and protect forests and greeneries.
