Official arrested in Baku for bribery charges

A representative of the executive body has been detained in Baku. Arzu Hadiyev, a representative of the Sabunchi district executive body in the Mashtaga settlement of Baku, has been arrested by employees of the Anti-Corruption Department. He has been accused of corruption, Prosecutor General's spokesman Office Eldar Sultanov told Trend today.

A criminal case was filed under Art. 311.1. (bribery) of the Criminal Code. The investigation is underway. Sultanov said the public will be officially informed in connection with the case.
