
This year the popular Eurovision song contest will be held in Baku. In this regard, the world's attention is focused on Azerbaijan, capital of which expects huge flow of foreign tourists, Tamiz Shahar statement said. Holding of Eurovision this year in Azerbaijan is a chance to show the world not only rich Azerbaijani art, but glorify the culture, history and many beautiful places of the country.
Ensuring cleanness and environmental balance of the capital plays important role in presentation of Baku. For this end Tamiz Shahar jointly with the official fan club of Eurovision in Azerbaijan held a community work day.
On March 30, which is the Earth day, staff of Tamiz Shahar, members of the Eurovision fan club with students - volunteers went to community work day in Gobustan National History and Art Preserve. The main purpose of community work day is to create good conditions for leisure of tourists who will arrive in Azerbaijan, as well as attract residents to make the capital of Eurovision-2012 cleaner. About 100 people attended community work day in Gobustan embodying history of Azerbaijan.
In order to increase a sense of environmental responsibility among the population Tamiz Shahar regularly carries out such actions.
