The Baku Education Department in collaboration with the Baku Police Department has conducted a raid on the Internet clubs and cafes. Education Department’s spokesperson Zamina Aligizi informs that almost all among the schoolchildren detained in Internet clubs were boys.
"Our observations have shown that school pupils generally spend their school classes in nearby internet clubs. Managers of Internet clubs are instructed not to let pupils who are regular customers to the clubs at the time of lessons. The legislation does not provide for a ban for visits of internet club by pupils but during lessons their passage to these institutions can be limited in such a way," she emphasized.
According to Aligizi, such raids conducted jointly with the police will give the students to understand that non-attendance of lessons t is punishable and the police can return them to classes.
