Cold weather returns back

It is forecasted to sleet and snow in some mountainous and submontane regions of Azerbaijan on March 27-28, senior hydrologist of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Asif Verdiyev reported.

Asif Verdiyev said it will be rainy in the regions on March 27. It will sleet and snow in the mountainous and submontane regions. West wind will blow. The temperature will be 3 - 7 C at night, 10 - 15 C in the daytime in the lowland regions. In the mountains the temperature will be -2 - 3 C at night, 3 - 8 C in the daytime. On March 28, it is expected to sleet and snow in the mountainous regions. The temperature will be 0 - 4 C at night, 8 - 12 C in the daytime in the lowland regions, in the mountains 0 - -5 C at night, 0 - 5 C in the daytime.

On March 27, the weather will be cloudy in Absheron peninsula. It will be foggy, rainy at night and in the morning. It will be windy in Baku and Absheron peninsula. The temperature will be 2 - 5 C at night, 11 C in the first half of the day, 4 C in the second half of the day.

On March 28, it will be cloudy, rainy in Baku and Absheron peninsula. The rainfall will gradually stop in the daytime. Mild north wind will blow. The temperature will be -2 - 4 C at night, 6 - 9 C in the daytime.
