Lithuania, Azerbaijan mull internet security issues

Director of the Network and Information Security Department at Communications Regulatory Authority of Lithuania Rytis Rainys has visited the Institute of Information Technology of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

As is reported, the event was dedicated to the security of the internet, policy of relevant international organizations in information security, international experience and ways to solve existing problems.

Speaking to the event, director of the Institute, correspondent member of the ANAS Rasim Aliguliyev stressed the importance of network security in modern world. He spoke of the work done at the Institute to provide internet and information security.

Rainys, in turn, stressed the importance of international cooperation for the internet and information security. Rainys gave full information on adopted state programs in Lithuania and ongoing projects.
