Heavy snowfall hits Baku - UPDATE - PHOTOS

It is snowing in Baku today. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told Trend that snowfall in Baku and Absheron peninsula will gradually stop in the evening.

Night temperature will hit 0, tomorrow afternoon - 1-4 degrees.There will be unstable weather and strong north-western wind all day in the regions of the country.

As the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reported unstable and rainy weather is observed in Baku.  The temperature is to be +1-4 C in the afternoon.

The weather is predicted to be rainy off and on also in the regions. Sleet is expected along with snow in the mountainous and foothills regions. Intermittently strengthening western wind will blow. The temperature is to be +2-7 C in the afternoon. The minimum temperature in the high mountainous areas is forecast to be -13-18 C.
