Azerbaijan to install satellite telemetric seismic stations

The Seismology Center of National Science Academy of Azerbaijan will participate in installation of seismic stations operating on the basis of telemetric satellite communication in CIS countries.

The Center reports that Azerbaijan is the leader in purchase and installation of telemetric stations among CIS countries due to which Azerbaijan Seismology Center with support from American Kinemetrix Company will take part in process of telemetric stations’ installation in CIS countries.

The centre employees are presently making a visit in United Arabic Emirates where they will take part in installation of telemetric stations and conduct trainings for local specialists on principles of stations’ operation.
