Azerbaijan switches to summer time

Azerbaijan will switch to summer time on March 25, the country`s State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents said. Summer time will begin at 04.00 a.m. on Sunday, with clocks moving forward one hour.

The transition from summer to winter time in Azerbaijan is envisaged by the decision of Cabinet of Ministers on March 17, 1997. Hands of clock are moved forward on last Sunday of March and back on last Sunday of October in accordance with the law.
