Ecology Ministry monitors nature reserves

Regular raids on the prevention of poaching activities within the territory of the country conducted.

Employees of the related bodies of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry conducted next raids with the purpose to inspect the condition of conformity with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On hunting” in the territory of the country on March 6-12, 2012.

During the raids 4 shotguns and 2 cartridges were confiscated from 4 poachers, and a statement was accordingly drawn up. In this regard, illicit hunters including 1 (with a shotgun) in the territory of “Girmizikand” Hunting Economy, 2 (with 2 shotguns) in “Zavvar” Hunting Economy and 1 (with a shotgun and 2 cartridges) in “Ilisu” State Nature Reserve were seized, a protocol was drawn up against those persons, and measures were taken in accordance with the legislation.

Raids on the prevention of illegal hunting are continued by the related bodies of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
