Baku wakes up to snow

It seems that winter is not going to leave Baku this year. It’s already March 10 and spring has not come yet. Instead, it snows outside the window and the weather is likely to be colder in Baku.

As the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported no freezing colds are expected in the city.  But, intermittently strengthening northern wind will blow during the day.

The temperature is forecasted to be +1-4 C in the afternoon, 0-(-1) in the evening. In the regions, the weather is predicted to be occasionally rainy. Sleet is expected along with snow in the mountainous and foothills regions. The temperature will  4-9 C in the afternoon.

The weather is predicted to be labile, interruptedly rainy alongside sleet and snow in the territory of the country on the weekend.
