Where to spend Novruz holiday?

During the Novruz holidays, Azerbaijanis prefer to rest mainly in the country’s regions, Director of one of the Azerbaijani tourist companies Ruslan Guliyev said.

Many people want to spend the upcoming festive holidays, in the regions such as Lankaran, Astara, Lerik, Gabala, Ismayilli, Sheki, Zagatala, Guba and Khachmaz. One day at the leisure centers in the regions cost 25-35 manat per one and week - 250 manat. This amount includes meals (lunch), tea, transportation and excursions.

Azerbaijanis also spend their Novruz holidays abroad, mainly in Turkey, Dubai, Georgia, as well as in Western Europe. Guliyev said the cost of tour packages on the eve of the Novruz holidays reaches 550-800 manat. These packages include a rest for 5-6 days, lodging and meals at the hotel, medical insurance, transportation, ticket, and the provision of services of qualified guides.

"No payment is required for children under 6 years and tickets are sold with a 50 percent discount for children aged 6- 13 years,” he added.
