Rules announced for admission to higher schools and specialized secondary schools

The State Student Admission Commission (SSAC) publicized the rules of admission to higher schools and specialized secondary schools of Azerbaijan for 2012-2013 academic year.

Application to higher and specialized secondary schools will be made through internet. Entrants will fill in the e-application forms on the official website of the SSAC, submit relevant documents to the Document Admission Commission. Following the entrance exams, entrants will show the code of the specialty in their e-applications.

Open questions on two subjects will be included into the test. Open questions will be used in mathematics and physics in the 1st specialty group, mathematics and geography in the 2nd specialty group, mathematics and history in the 3rd specialty group, mathematics and chemistry in the 4th specialty group.

This year the specialties in the 3rd specialty group will not be divided into DT and XH subgroups. The rules of admission have been published in the 1st edition of the Abituriyent journal.
