Major road junction to appear in Baku

A major road junction, whose construction was launched in October 2010, will be completed in October 2013. The tunnel-type road junction is being constructed on the Galaba square, Azeryolservis reported.
 
The number of tunnels after the completion of the construction work will be 6, total length of the tunnel – 2,766 m and service road – 1,768 meters. The total area of  tunnel-type road junction is 35,563 square meters.
 
The road junction is planned to connect the Ataturk and Vagif Avenues, as well as Tabriz to Ataturk Avenues with  the Ahmed Bey Agaoglu Street. Drivers will get access to the Darnagul highway without entering the Ganjlik circle.
