As of Feb.10, 2012, 836 Azerbaijani students study abroad under the State Program of Education of Azerbaijan Youth in 2007-2015 approved by the presidential decree.

He said the Azerbaijanis mainly receive education in areas such as economics, politics, medicine, tourism, etc. "Today, our students are studying in specialties such as programming, physics, computer science, mathematical cybernetics, mathematics, international relations, medical business, bookkeeping and accounting, industrial engineering, tourism, ecology, biology, economics, information technology, ophthalmology, cardiology , marketing, electrical engineering and computer science, pharmacology, neurology, oncology, surgery, radiology, international business, agricultural science, urology, agribusiness, pediatrics, journalism, social sciences, radiodiagnostics, medical genetics, gynecology, and other, " Zeynalov stated.
