Azerbaijan, Turkey revise medical tourism

Azerbaijan`s Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev has met visiting delegation of Turkey`s Medical Tourism Organization. Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic was also present at the meeting.

The sides discussed expansion of medical tourism between the two countries. Shiraliyev informed the Turkish representatives on current state of healthcare sphere in Azerbaijan, achievements, newly-constructed medical buildings, staff preparation and other issues.

The Minister stressed that Azerbaijani health experts attends improvement trainings in Turkey every year. In turn, Turkish representatives underlined that they are interested in working with Azerbaijani experts, and are ready to share experiences.
