Traffic movement will be limited in Baku

Baku’s several streets and avenues will be completely closed to the traffic movement in connection with the funeral ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

Baku State Central Traffic Police Department spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Vagif Asadov said the ceremony will be held in front of the memorial complex "Mother’s cry". To ensure the safety of the participants and traffic movement, vehicles will not be allowed to move in the direction of the Khojaly Avenue and Khojaly Park from 6:30 am until the end of the event on Feb.26.
