ANAS institutions get free access to Eduroam service

The Institute of Information Technology (IIT) of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (NASA) has launched the Eduroam " educational roaming" service as part of the AzScienceNet scientific network, the institute reported.

Eduroam will allow employees to get free access to the Internet while traveling. A user can connect to the Internet using his username and password, which are valid only in the Eduroam service area.
The Eduroam infrastructure was created by NASA institutions and structures.

Eduroam was registered with the Trans-European Association of Research and Educational Institutions (TERENA). Eduroam was created by a TERENA working group. It is deployed in over 35 research and educational institutions in Europe.
