Two fishermen rescued in Caspian Sea

Two fishermen were rescued from the boat blocked in pack ice in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. The Emergency Situations Ministry reported that the ministry received information that two fishermen put to sea from Garghalig village of Khachmaz region on Sunday and couldn’t return back due to bad weather and remained unassisted at the sea.

During the evaluation of conditions at site it was identified that the boat was blocked in pack ice 300 m off the coasts. Both fishermen were rescued at 23.38 as a result of operation carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and State Water Rescue Service’s Northern Regional Center. The fishermen didn’t need first medical aid.
