
The Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry’s National Hydrometeorology Department reported that the weather is predicted to be mostly rainless, but lesser rainy in some places passing from February 16 to 17 in Baku and Absheron peninsula intermittently strengthening north-western wind will blow, will get warmer in the afternoon. The temperature will be 0-3 C at night, +4-6 C in the afternoon.
The weather is forecasted to be chiefly rainless during the day, but lesser rainy in some northern and eastern regions in the morning and evening. Mist will be in several places in the morning. Eastern wind will blow.
The temperature will be -4 C to +1 C at night, +3-7 C in the afternoon, -4-9 C in the mountains at night, and -2 C to +3 C in the afternoon. The minimum temperature in the high mountainous areas is expected to be -10-15 C.
On February 17-18, the expected temperature close to the climate norm in Absheron peninsula, as well as weak and mild fluctuation of meteorological determinants are considered relatively suitable for meteorologically vulnerable people. Nevertheless, on February 19, considerable rise of the atmospheric pressure, and cold and rainy weather accompanied with strong Khazri (cold north Caspian Sea wind) wind are deemed inauspicious for meteorologically sensitive people.
