Landslide damages gas pipeline

A landslide occurred in Azerbaijan,  the Emergency Situations Ministry reported. The landslide occurred in the mountainous area 3 km of the Goychay city’s center. As a result of landslide, Arab Channel was blocked and a high-pressure gas pipeline with 1200 mm diameter was damaged causing a gas leak.

The relevant organizations were immediately informed about the incident. Emergency forces are working at site to eliminate results of the landslide.
