Azerbaijan Railways introduces non-cash payments

Azerbaijan Railways joins the process of non-cash payments in the country. The Company reports that it has already bought and installed POS-terminals for these ends in all its cashier’s offices.

"Although previously it was planned to start using POS-terminals since early February, the process has been delayed for technical reasons. Now we plan to start using POS-terminals in late February or early March," Azerbaijan Railways informed.

A Company’s source says that the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) is going to become a partner of Azerbaijan Railways in introduction of cashless payments.
