Baku prepares for metro station renovation

Work is underway to on the renovation of the metro station"28 May", a source in the Baku metro management reported. The first stage of the renovation work provides a complete modernization of the station lobby and  the second phase - the replacement of escalators.
 
"Following the renovation, the number of escalators will be increased to 4. Construction and repair work is scheduled to begin after May. The station has multiple entrances, so during the renovation work it will serve to passengers,” the source said.
 
The renovation of the metro station"28 May" is included in the State program on metro development in 2011-2015. The works envisaged to be completed by  late 2013.
